### data deletion
how to revoke access and request deletion of your data
last updated 29 august 2026
what data exists
The poppang content monitor is a private single-user application. It holds access tokens for the operator's own social media accounts, and a short-lived cache of statistics and comments from those accounts. It holds no accounts or personal data belonging to anyone else.
Pinterest data is fetched live and never stored, so there is nothing retained to delete.
revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time from the connected platform's own settings, in its apps or connected-services section. Revoking there immediately stops the application from reading any further data, and the stored token becomes unusable.
deleting stored data
Disconnecting an account inside the application deletes its stored token and any cached statistics for that account.
To request deletion of all data held for a connected account, email hello@poppang.dev with the platform and account handle. Requests are actioned within 30 days, and confirmation is sent to the requesting address.
comments left by other people
If a comment left on one of the operator's posts appears in a cache and its author would like it removed from that cache, they can email the address above. Deleting the comment on the original platform also removes it, since the cache is rebuilt from what the platform returns.
